JOHNSON Residence Care Centres (JRCC) today joined Penang Adventist Hospital (PAH) as a partner for traditional, stepdown and recovery care for patients who require nursing care upon discharge from the hospital.
“The care provided by JRCC aims to help these patients achieved full recovery without compromising on the quality of nursing care that they require and improve cost-efficacy for patients,” Pulau Tikus assemblyman Chris Lee Chun Kit said when he officiated the appointment of JRCC by PAH at their partnership ceremony at Codrington Avenue Residence today.
Also present was JRCC manager Amy Leong.
“It is important to ensure more care centres are being set up for the elderly in the state, apart from the one at Codrington Avenue Residence.
“With more care centres set up, the welfare of the elderly discharged from hospital could be better taken care off,” he stressed.
Leong said Johnson Residence Sdn Bhd, which operates Johnson Residence Care Centres, currently owns and manages two care centres in Penang, namely Turf View Care Centre (60 bedded capacity and Codrington Avenue Residence (33 bedded capacity).
“JRCC is partnered with Well Healthcare Group to provide physiotheraphy, occupational and speech therapy for their residents.
“JRCC joined Home Medicare Group to provide doctors’ home visit for their residents’ non-critical/non-emergency medical needs,” she added.
